This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you ”Well Food Company: BBQ Grass-Fed Beef Jerky.” I am very anxious to review yet another item that has been on my banned until further notice list. Beef jerky hasn’t been fairing well with me, as I have been unfortunately striking out with feeling crummy after eating it. So when I saw Evolve Foods’ Beef Jerky listed in Julian Bakery’s Paleo section on their website, I had to order it up and give it a whirl. With the quality items that Julian Bakery offers, I had no doubt in my mind that these were the real deal, and would keep me feeling as I should. Grass-Fed, organic, no nitrates, no antibiotics… Never have I seen another beef jerky state these claims, probably because they aren’t… Until now!!! Don’t forget about the lack of MSG, hormones, or Erythorbate. Oh, and gluten and soy free!! Geesh, anything else you want to take away from my foods? Wait, that’s a good thing!!! This is great news folks, and I am so thrilled to have easy access to such a clean product. Let’s rip this bag open and see how it scores in the taste department!

So here goes, I open up the bag and give it a sniff… Pure awesomeness, I can smell a little spice and some of that classic barbeque scent as well. As I take my first bite into the beef jerky, I notice that it has the perfect consistency, not to hard and not soft… Just right! A very nice flavor through each bite, and after about fifteen seconds of chewing, I notice a little burst of spice coming through. Probably that cayenne pepper, I love that… Well Food Company truly has a great Beef Jerky here, and it’s definitely one that I will be purchasing again. I am always looking for snacks that I can take with me; on hikes, bike rides, or even on a trip to the mall with my kid. And this is one that fits the bill. With five carbs, and eleven grams of protein, this is a perfect food to use for the long haul.
As usual, I am thrilled that Julian Bakery has decided to include Grass-Fed Beef Jerky through their Paleo section. It works, it makes sense, and therefore it exists on their website. Nothing artificial, processed, sugar-infested goes into their inventory, and this is why these incredible slices of beef jerky made the cut. Literally.
I hope you enjoyed my review of Grass-Fed Beef Jerky, please try them out and let me know what you think. Until the next review, I hope you have a great day and keep eatin’ clean!
