I double-dog dare you to try this killer wrap… Don’t worry, it’s organic and Paleo! This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you a ”Spicy Chorizo Paleo Wrap!” Yesterday I spotted some organic Chorizo sausage in my local grocery store, and since it said it was fully organic and had no antibiotis or hormones, I figured it was worth a shot. You gotta have trust sometimes, and personally I have been blessed (or cursed???) with the ability to tell if a certain food is organic or not. A couple years ago I took Fluoroquinolone antibiotics for a simple ear infection and it ruined my gut, and who knows what else…. Now, whenever I eat something that has hormones, antibiotics, or other harmful items, I get itchy, achy, tingly… It’s not cool…. But I can use this as a tool to figure out what is truly organic and what isn’t.
About a year and a half ago, I stumbled onto Paleo Bread at a local health food store, and I thought to myself “Hmm, is this another bread that is gluten-free that will make me itchy or give me a headache??” But something told me to try it out, have faith and trust Julian Bakery. I’m glad I did, because that opened up so many doorways to tons of meals that I wasn’t able to have anymore! It tasted great, it was low in carbs and calories, and since it was made with organic ingredients like coconut, almond, and apple cider vinegar I was stoked to know that I wasn’t eating poor items. One thing led into another, and I now am enjoying a ton of Julian Bakery items, I am stronger and more in tune with my body than I ever was, and I am eating a variety of meals that I never enjoyed in the past… More nutrition, more variety for this “Foodie”, and life is Paleo-Good!!!!!

Now that we’ve trusted Julian Bakery and established that they are a company that we can put our faith into for the best Paleo/organic items on the block, let’s talk about these Paleo Wraps that have just hit the market. Wowzers!!!!! 70 calories, 4 net carbs, made with GMO-free and organic coconut, and they hold a TON of whatever your heart desires! I have been making some heavy-duty meals, and the Paleo Wrap holds up just fine. And personally I have zero issues, nada!!! No itchiness, no aches or pains, a happy gut equates to a healthy body!
Ok, let’s talk about this “Spicy Chorizo Paleo Wrap”…. Umm, really, it was the bomb! It had just the right amount of spice that I was craving this morning, it had a crazy variety of textures from the Chorizo sausage mixed with the onions and peppers, and that light coconut taste from the Paleo Wrap. The nutritional breakdown was 725 calories, 18 net carbs, 30 grams of protein, 11 grams of sugar, and our macronutrient breakdown was 70% fat, 17% protein, and 13% carbs. Anyone that understands that healthy fats are our friend can tell that this was a healthy meal, low in carbs, and has the calories to provide us with the energy for our morning. I added on some Paleo Chocolate as a treat, which is one of the best dark chocolates that I have ever tasted. It’s fully organic and GMO free, and sugar free too! And it comes in three flavors!
