Salmon Sandwich On Gluten Free Carb Zero Bread™

The Julian Bakery wants to share another delicious low carb lunch recipe with you. This sandwich was made on gluten free, Carb Zero™ Bread – Regular variety in which I picked up from the Julian Bakery. I haven’t had too much of this assortment of bread but so far I think it’s perfect for my low carb diet. I know what you are thinking; another sandwich? Why yes, another sandwich. Remember what I told you about my love for bread and fillers. Now, I can have my sandwich and eat it too. Sorry, that was corny but true. Anyways, this lunch was perfect for me today. I didn’t have a lot of time to figure out some elaborate meal so I just went with my fallback plan, the good ‘ole sandwich. So please make this dish and let me know how it tasted to you. You will see a lot of sandwiches on this blog, so be forewarned. Oh, and it also includes the Paleo Mayonnaise that I told you about earlier. So, here we go.

 Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of Carb Zero™ Bread – Regular variety, toasted
  • (2 Slices= 0 Net Carbs with 18g of Protein & Fiber)
  • 6oz. can of Wild Alaskan Salmon
  • 3 tbsp of Paleo Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp of dry dill
  • ½ organic avocado, sliced
  • ½ organic tomato, sliced
  • 1 leaf organic Romaine lettuce

 Directions:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, mix the can of salmon with 2 tbsp of the Paleo Mayo and the dry dill
  2. Toast the slices of Carb Zero™ Bread
  3. Slice the avocado, tomato, and lettuce, set aside
  4. Spread 1 tbsp of the mayo on each bread slice
  5. Plate the bread, place some salmon mix on the bread, add the sliced veggies
  6. Serve and enjoy!

 Prep Time:

  • 5 minutes+

Cook Time:

  • 2 minutes (toast)

Serves:

  • 1 person (will have leftovers of salmon mix)
