I am so in the mood for a massive Paleo Wrap that’s not only filling, but also packed with nutrition to keep me going all morning long. This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you a ”Primal Roast Beast Wrap.” Every day is an adventure, and I feel as if each meal is one too. When I woke up this morning I had an urge for a Paleo Wrap from Julian Bakery, loaded with a heaping portion of roast beef (organic of course!), some fresh veggies, and some awesome Paleo condiments. And hey why not, a little organic Swiss Cheese too!
We picked up some Applegate Farms organic roast beef just last night at a new healthy grocery store that were checking out…. And I was glad to see Paleo Bread being sold there as well! I must’ve been up all night thinking of the combinations that I could whip up with the Paleo Wraps and that roast beef, but I decided on some baby spinach, that Swiss Cheese, some Paleo Mayo that we recently made (from the 500 Paleo Recipes cookbook) combined with some horseradish, a blend of two sea salts via Quantum Pink Salt, and finally a sprinkle of one of my favorite spice blends; Paleo Powder!
- 6 oz organic roast beef
- 3 slices organic Swiss Cheese
- Handful of baby spinach
- 1 tbsp Paleo Mayo
- ½ tsp horseradish
- Quantum Pink Salt and Paleo Powder to taste
- 2 Paleo Wraps
- Combine Paleo Mayo and horseradish together in a small bowl
- Start adding all ingredients to two Paleo Wraps as you wish
- Season with Quantum Pink Salt and Paleo Powder to taste

Calculating this bad boy with my handy-dandy nutritional tools, I figure this “Primal Roast Beast Wrap” has 720 calories, 50 grams of (healthy) fat, just 9 net carbs, 5 grams of fiber, 54.3 grams of protein, and 11 grams of sugar…. Meanwhile, the macronutrient breakdown hit the sweet-spot! 62% fat, 30% protein, and 8% carbs, booyah! This is a meal for someone that is ready for action, prepping to take the day by storm, and is aware of how healthy fats, organic proteins, and good veggies can transform you into a machine. And big thanks to Julian Bakery’s Paleo Wraps for holding this all together, yeah I used two, but I love that crisp coconut bite, the extra strength, and the added protein and fiber!
Anyone looking for a super tasty wrap, here it is! I loved every bite, with that creamy horseradish infused Paleo Mayo, from Dana Carpender’s 500 Paleo Recipes cookbook. It’s got a ton of low carb meals, kept clean via the Paleo lifestyle, and we absolutely love it. After this meal was complete, I enjoyed a nice bite of Paleo Chocolate, possibly the cleanest, most Paleo of all dark chocolates! Combine that with some nuts of your choice and a little Nutiva Coconut Manna and you have an amazing treat!
Thanks for previewing this Paleo (okay, yeah it’s Primal!) meal come together. If you are true Paleo just omit the Swiss cheese… Please keep in mind that different dairy has different levels of lactose. Like Paleo Butter, Swiss cheese is towards the bottom of the list, and it doesn’t bother me one bit… So if that helps you experiment and enjoy a little cheese, I’m glad to have been of some assistance!
