I’m in the mood for something that’s just different… This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you a ”Primal Apple MeeNut & Brie Sandwich!” Sometimes you just want to take a different route, the path least travelled, to try something new. It can be a good thing, stay positive, keep your head up and your mind open! Rachel suggested I try a combination that sounded odd and intriguing at the same time, so I’m gonna roll with it.
We are starting off this meal with some almond Paleo Bread in the toaster oven…. I choose Paleo Bread because of all the health benefits like healthy fats, low carbs and low calories, as well as being organic and GMO free… Oh, and it’s gluten/grain/dairy/soy/yeast free too! Plus, it tastes great, especially for being the “Top Dog” of all healthy breads. Once it’s partially toasted, I melt some goat brie on one of the slices…. Yes, this is Primal today folks, I don’t have dairy every day, but when I do I do it right. I buy organic, raw cheeses, only the best… Now that the goat brie is melted, I remove both slices, and add layers of Granny Smith apple slices and Paleo MeeNut Butter. The MeeNut Butter is a wild blend of four different nuts, it has no sugar added, and there are no peanuts as well. Perfect if you ask me, especially for a cool Primal snack like this one. Usually with my Paleo Bread order, I’ll grab a container or two of the MeeNut Butter from Julian Bakery… It comes in a nice glass container, so you know its BPA free, and I’ve never had an incident with any of my shipments too!

Rachel was right…. I am really into this combination of that creamy brie with the sour apple, and that nutty taste from the MeeNut Butter. And, the almond Paleo Bread was a great choice to top (and bottom) it off! I wasn’t really super hungry, but I needed something with nutrition and taste to curb my appetite in a different way. Not into dairy? Try eliminating the goat brie and just going with more Paleo MeeNut Butter, as it will still go great with that Granny Smith apple!
