Pepperoni, Mushroom & Onion Breakfast Paleo Wrap

This one reminds me of my teenage years, as I worked in a pizza restaurant and craved similar combos on pizzas or even in calzones.  So why not give this a go this morning!  This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you a “Pepperoni, Mushroom & Onion Breakfast Paleo Wrap”.  I don’t know what it is about it personally, but I’ve always loved this trio.  And since our pepperoni is organic, nitrate and nitrite free, it’s that much better than what you may or may not get in a restaurant!   Combined with some locally-raised eggs and a Paleo Wrap from Julian Bakery, how can this go wrong?

What’ll make this better?  By using some Garlic Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil to cook this up!  It’s GMO-free, organic, pourable, and comes in Lemon-Herb and Original too!  It’s a great way to minimize oxidation, add natural garlic essence, and get healthy fats through coconut into your diet.  Plus garlic is a wonderful anti-inflammatory.  After sautéing our veggies for just a few minutes, I then add in our pepperoni slices and eggs, along with a pinch of ground black pepper, dried oregano, and one of my favorite sea salt blends: Quantum Pink Salt!

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Sauté veggies with  Garlic Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil for just a few minutes, until soft.
  2. Add Applegate pepperoni slices, eggs, salt, pepper and oregano, and cook eggs to your liking.
  3. Serve in a Paleo Wrap, and mangia!

Prep Time:  3 min

Cook Time:  7 min

Another ten minute meal, kept low carb, minimally processed, and loaded with tons of flavor, healthy fats, great protein and some great veggie nutrients!  Meanwhile we’ve kept this free from GMO’s, gluten, grains, soy, starch, and dairy.  I personally have no issue with quality dairy, usually a raw cheese that I picked out, free of hormones and antibiotics, and grass-fed too.  But when dairy is included in a food item that you’ve purchased, chances are it’s not up to my standards.  Subpar dairy is not recommended in my book, since I try to eat a hormone and antibiotic free diet, as well as one that is low in inflammation (grass-fed).
