Paleo Tuna Salad Wrap & Sandwich

To sandwich or to wrap, that is the question…   This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you “Paleo Tuna Salad Two Ways”.  We’ve been busy in the kitchen all morning, prepping for today’s festivities and for our guests.  And finally, it’s time to make breakfast!  Or would this be brunch at this point?  Whatever, its chow time!  As I reach for a can of wild caught tuna, Rach realizes she could go for the same tuna salad that I’m about to make.  Although she decides that it would be better (for her) in a Turmeric Paleo Wrap, while I’m craving a sandwich using a couple slices of toasty and crunchy Almond Paleo Bread.  Both are healthy, both lack GMO’s, gluten, and grains, and both are low in carbs and calories.  But they are oh so different!

We start off with that can of wild caught tuna from Wild Planet, combined with some crispy organic bacon from Applegate, homemade Paleo mayo, crunchy celery, and some salt and pepper to give it a little zip.  Rach actually wanted more zip, so she went with a chipotle mayo from Sir Kensington, now I want to one up their recipe and make my own…  Next time, Sir Kensington, we shall meet again…. A couple fresh eggs from the farm make their way into this one, along with some fresh greens as well.

Now that salt we added isn’t your average Joe salt… Its Himalayan salt, loaded with eighty-four trace minerals, no added chemicals, and it’s truly healthy for you.  Sunfood Superfoods Fine Himalayan Crystal Salt is a pure salt with health benefits, and great flavor that you will love!  And in this meal, it definitely helps bring out the taste.  Rachel was lovin’ her Paleo Wrap version, while I was crunchin’ away at my toasted Paleo Bread Tuna Salad Sandwich.  Both were delish, both were low in carbs and GMO free, and both can be easily made thanks to Julian Bakery and a few great items.  So take a stroll to Oceanside or La Jolla, California and check them out… Too far?  Then go online at www.JulianBakery.com/Paleo and take a peek at all of the wonderful products that they offer to keep you healthy and feeling good.  It’s how we do it!!!
