This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you the ”Paleo Treats – Brownie Bomb.” And oh what a treat it is!!! We don’t normally indulge in sweets much since going Paleo and all… But one in a while, we will make a Paleo-approved dessert or treat. It does take some time and effort, but it’s worth it in the end. But since we found the Paleo Treats – Brownie Bomb on Julian Bakery’s website, we decided to give it a whirl and see how instant gratification feels. No mess, no time wasted, no fuss… Just open it right up and enter the wonderful world of chocolate nutty bliss! And that’s exactly what went down in our kitchen this morning. Once I read the ingredients, I knew I was in trouble…. In a good way! No gluten, no grains, no dairy… Made with honey, pecans, eggs, coconut oil, cacao powder, and almond flour, there is nothing to complain about here folks! All natural ingredients, just like all of the other products that Julian Bakery offers.
Since I wasn’t the only one in my household that knew the Brownie Bomb was next on the “To-Do List”, I couldn’t devour this one alone. We split it three ways, and we decided just like how the Paleo Treats – Mustang Bar was enjoyed, half of it was warmed up and half was kept cool… Kinda like that old school McDLT burger from McDonald’s, where the cold stays cold and the hot stays hot; except this is much less detrimental on your health! So after I warmed up the Brownie Bomb, I couldn’t believe how soft and moist it was while plating it for my girls. It was calling my name, big time! I wanted to dig in and tell them it fell on the floor, or the cats ate it…. But I resisted, and had them gather round the six delectable bombs ‘o brownie, and we let the games begin.
- coconut oil
- cacao powder
- almond flour

As you can see, the ingredients are “the bomb”, the nutrition facts are pretty good for this being a treat, and appearance-wise it looks phenomenal. How’d it taste? Well, I started off with a cool piece, and it was delish!!!! The chocolate was thick, rich, savory, and flat-out awesome. My wife and daughter started out with the warm pieces, and you could see their faces light up as the chocolate touched their lips…. Normally I’d say it’s a female hormone thing, but not in this case; it was all due to the Brownie Bomb! My wife compared it to “brownie batter”. I then went for my warm piece, and ohhhhh my, soft and melt-in-your-mouth, and I agree with the brownie batter comparison. So good, the small chunks of pecans were the icing on the cake as it added a little crunch to the gooey brownie texture.
Ordering these were a breeze, since we got them with our Paleo Bread through Julian Bakery at www.JulianBakery.com/Paleo. Their Paleo section is expanding immensely, and everything on their site gets my stamp of approval. It may not be much to you, but for someone with autoimmune conditions I think I have merit. If it passes my test, then it must be made from natural ingredients that are good for you!
I hope you enjoyed our review of the Paleo Treats – Brownie Bomb, and I hope you get a chance to try them and like them as well. While you are ordering them up from Julian Bakery, make sure you get the Paleo Treats –Mustang Bar, as those were a complete slam dunk as well!!! And don’t forget to stock up on your Coconut Manna, Paleo Butter, Paleo MeeNut Butter, and Paleo Macaroons!
