Paleo Nate here, once again, and I’d like to share another healthy, filling lunch using the Julian Bakery’s grain free, gluten free Paleo Bread™ – Almond variety. Today, I made a high protein, low carb sandwich created with Paleo MeeNut™ Butter and organic berries. This nut butter allows you to still make that PB&J that you crave but not consume the PB (Peanut Butter) that you and I know is not part of the Paleo Diet. Peanuts are a legume and not to mention the aflatoxin that is always present in peanuts. That’s another whole post in itself. I will stick with the MeeNut™ Butter and what is in it. This delicious nut butter is created mostly from Almonds, Walnuts, Pecans, and Macadamia Nuts. And I say mostly because there is a small amount of flax seed, sunflower seed, coconut oil, pure vanilla extract, and sea salt present as well. Most notably, there are no chemicals, preservatives, or added sugars in the nut butter either. The amount of MeeNut™ Butter used on this sandwich you see here contained just 180 calories, 3 net carbs and 6 grams of protein. Nice huh? Anyways, be sure to try it on your next sandwich on Paleo Bread™ and let me know what you think. You won’t be sorry. I promise. Now, onto the recipe and video.

Remember, that this new item, the Paleo MeeNut™ Butter, is available from the Julian Bakery along with several other Paleo products as well. This nut butter really is the best of both worlds. It allows for you to still satisfy your PB&J cravings while sticking to the Paleo Plan. Love it!
Be sure to comment below if you make this for lunch and let me know what you think. I would love to hear from you. Also, please Like me on Facebook™ and Share this with any and all of your Paleo friends.
If you happen to live in the San Diego Area, stop by the Julian Bakery in La Jolla to see what other zero and low carb products they may have in stock. You may be impressed. They also just came out with their absolutely scrumptious, Paleo Macaroons!
