Paleo Lime & Basil Beef Kabobs

Here’s an easy Paleo marinade recipe that I guarantee you and your guests will love!  This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you ”Paleo Lime & Basil Beef Kabobs.”  We’re always looking to enhance, especially when we can do it without any gluten, grains, soy; none of that junk!  This marinade is simple to make, and has taste that outweighs the little effort that goes into it.  And with a few ingredients from Julian Bakery, we are ensuring that we are using top quality Paleo ingredients.  The Original Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil is one of the finest coconut oils around, it’s pourable, non-GMO, organic, and comes in two other flavors; Garlic and Lemon Herb.  The Sunfood Super Foods Fine Himalayan Crystal Salt is one of the most used items in our household, since it’s tasty, and gives us nutrition instead of degrading our health like typical table salt.  We are actually getting 84 trace minerals with it, and it comes from a place that has been hidden from the elements for like ever!

  • 1.5 pound of beef (try chuck, top sirloin, rib-eye, tri-tip or tenderloin) cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons Original Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil
  • 1.5 teaspoon grated orange peel (zest)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 5 tablespoons fresh basil
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3.4 teaspoon Sunfood Super Foods Fine Himalayan Crystal Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions (for the Hoisin sauce):

1)      Add all ingredients (except beef!) in blender/food processor, blend well.

2)      Put in bag with beef, and marinate.

3)      Grill when ready.

Prep Time:

• 5 minutes

Marinate Time:

• At least two hours

Serves: 4

Cooked up on the grill, I had to add on one of my other favorite items from Julian Bakery; their coconut Paleo Bread!  I really love it on the grill, as it gets nice and crispy…. And with a few dashes of one of the best spice blends around, Paleo Powder, we have a great addition to the “Paleo Lime & Basil Beef Kabobs.”  Don’t forget to eat your veggies!!!  And don’t forget that Paleo Bread is gluten-free, GMO-free, grain-free, dairy-free, and soy free…. Oh, and it’s low in carbs, calories, and has protein and fiber to keep you fuller longer.  Plus, the fact that I can eat it with my auto-immune issues speaks volumes!!!

So make sure you go to for the items used in this awesome marinade, along with Paleo Bread, Paleo Powder, and get some Paleo Chocolate and Paleo Macaroons while your there!  May I suggest a cookbook for you?  Okay then, I would grab a copy of Gather, The Art of Paleo Entertaining so you can enhance your Paleo cooking skills, and learn from one of the best cookbooks around.  Thanks for stopping by to check out this wonderful Paleo meal using some delicious and organic items from Julian Bakery.
