This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you ”Lemon Herb Roasted Brussels Sprouts.” Ever since we found the Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil on Julian Bakery’s website, we’ve been trying each of the three flavors with different meals and recipes… With great success, I should add!!! Tonight’s veggies are one of our common quick and simple sides, but we are going to infuse them with some extra flavor… The flavor is coming our way via the Lemon Herb Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil; with a simple pour of this lovely all natural coconut oil, we are upping the ante of these delicious cruciferous veggies. Yes, I said “pour”, this coconut oil stays liquid, and makes cooking so much easier. No melting, no risking burns, no guessing the amount to melt, so simple even a caveman can do it! Plus with three flavors to choose from, you literally have the ability to pour on Coconut, Garlic, or Lemon Herb. And no worries about genetic modifications with the Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil, because they truly are GMO-free!
• 3 tablespoons Lemon Herb Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil (Derived From Organic Coconuts)
• 36 oz Brussels sprouts – cleaned and halved
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 slice coconut Paleo Bread
1) Wash and half Brussels sprouts
2) Place Brussels sprouts in a cookie sheet
3) Pour Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil onto Brussels sprouts
4) Add salt and pepper, and mix Brussels sprouts well to ensure they are all coated
5) Cook in oven at 375 F for about 40 minutes (after 20 minutes, mix them well)

So we have our friend Danielle that occasionally eats over, and tonight she happened to be here for our “Lemon Herb Roasted Brussels Sprouts”… She’s a perfect person to test this out on, because she’s had the original Brussels sprouts recipe, without the simple addition of the Lemon Herb. Instantly, she states that “These are the best Brussels Sprouts!!!!!!!” They had a very pleasant and light lemon and herb aroma, as the flavor suggests…. But we really could not believe that a few tablespoons made such an enhancement to our veggies. Next time, we are planning on infusing our veggies with half Garlic and half Lemon Herb, and we are betting big that they will be phenomenal!!!
I also enjoyed my coconut Paleo Bread drizzled with the Lemon Herb Nuco Premium Liquid Coconut Oil on it…. Since the coconut Paleo Bread doesn’t have a strong coconutty taste, it’s mild flavor will go well with any of the three coconut oil flavors…. Don’t forget about Paleo Butter though, which also goes great on Paleo Bread. And I also am happy that Paleo Bread is low in carb’s and cal’s, but rich in fiber and protein…. All of these items can be had through Julian Bakery; their Paleo section is chock full of great items just like these fine products. We’re talkin’ about GMO-free, gluten-free, grain-free, soy-free, nothin’ but the best! So make sure you surf on over to www.JulianBakery.com/Paleo – and while you are stocking up on the finest coconut oils you can find, you may want to order up a cookbook or two to bring lots of new and tasty Paleo ideas to your home plate!
Please come back to see more great Paleo meals, and maybe next time we’ll give you the recipe for the “Bacon Smothered Chicken” that was featured next to our ‘Sprouts. Thanks for taking the time to check out my Paleo food blog, with Julian Bakery products…
