Paleo Bacon & Egg Triple Breakfast Sandwich

You gotta love the smell of bacon in the morning…. This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you a ”Bacon and Egg Triple.”  Once I opened the fridge and saw some fresh bacon, I knew I was in for it.  It’s been a while since I enjoyed a nice, big triple-decker, and today was the day where I was reunited with a great one.  I’ve got bacon and eggs, some Paleo Bread from Julian Bakery, and a couple great organic products to make this meal come to life. 

I start slow cooking my bacon, cause that’s what I do.  Throughout my Paleo & Primal journey I have learned to try to cook with lower temps, and try to avoid burning your food….  Carcinogens are a bad, bad thing….  Although once in a while I will crave a slice of Paleo Bread with some burnt edges, something I cannot resist.  I used to enjoy my steaks “Black & Blue”, but have changed my ways.  When it comes to my bacon, I let it take its time, a good hour and then some.  It takes patience, but as Heinz states; “Good things come to those who wait.”  While the bacon is cooking up, I add a light sprinkle of this new pink salt that we got from Julian Bakery…. Their Paleo section is blowin’ up, in a good way!!  And once you see the Sunfood Super Foods Fine Himalayan Crystal Salt, make sure you grab a bag and give a test drive.  It’s got a ton of nutrients that you just do not get with table salt; 84 minerals in a form that can be easily assimilated and metabolized by the body.  And a little sprinkle does the trick!  After the bacon is close to being finished, I start making my eggs.  And since this is a triple-decker, I decide to use two frying pans, so I have two separately cooked eggs for both layers.  I start off with a drizzle of the Original Flavor Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil in each pan, and then the eggs get a crackin’.  Why am I using the Nuco?  Because it’s organic, non-GMO, and pourable!  No mess, no bad stuff, and healthy for you!  I cook them up while my Coconut Paleo Bread is a toastin’ up in my toaster oven.  The eggs also get a sprinkle of the Sunfood Super Foods Fine Himalayan Crystal Salt, cause why not??

Ingredients:

• 3 slices Coconut Paleo Bread

Original Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil – for cooking eggs

• 2 eggs

• Sprinkle of Sunfood Super Foods Fine Himalayan Crystal Salt

• 4 slices organic bacon

Directions:

1)      Cook bacon to your liking, I prefer to slow cook which takes at least an hour

2)      Toast Coconut Paleo Bread

3)      Pour some Original Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil in your frying pan

4)      Cook eggs to your liking

5)      Sprinkle Sunfood Super Foods Fine Himalayan Crystal Salt on bacon and eggs to taste

6)      Assemble your triple-decker and enjoy!

Once assembled, I was seriously starting to drool before I could even sit down at the table.  I really enjoyed this “Bacon and Egg Triple”, and as usual thanks to Julian Bakery, I was able to bring out the best.  Their coconut Paleo Bread is the only bread (well their almond too!) that I will enjoy, with my auto-immune condition, I cannot have any grains, gluten, soy, or I will be forced to pay the Piper.  Paleo Bread doesn’t bother me one bit, and I am thankful that I stumbled onto this bread in my local Health-Food store.  If you want to search for a local vendor, check out their “Store Locator”;
