High Protein Low Carb Bread French Toast Recipe With Smart Carb™ Bread
French toast and other breakfast staples can be highly missed if you are eating healthy but with Julian Bakery’s Smart Carb #2 Cinnamon Raisin you will not feel guilt whatsoever over eating this bread! With 16 grams of protein and only 4 net carbs per slice, you can enjoy french toast all throughout the week. This French toast has a couple hidden ingredients to jazz it up and add a punch of flavor.
Julian Bakery High Protein Smart Carb #2 bread (16g Protein Per Slice)
4 eggs, beaten
2 Tbs. of cream (1/2 & ½ or any other milk type product)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Nuts and dried fruit (optional)
Maple Syrup: Natures Hollow (Sugar Free) (Xylitol Sweetened) (2 Effective Carbs)
Mix the cream, vanilla and cinnamon into the eggs
Drench the bread on both sides in the egg mixture and put directly into a pan on medium heat.
Cook on both sides until egg mixture is lightly browned
Add nuts and dried fruit and drizzle syrup over the top and enjoy!
