Julian Bakery’s Paleo Egg Scramble with Zero Carb Rice

This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you ”Julian Bakery’s Paleo Scramble with Miracle Rice.”  Some of my favorite breakfasts start with the almighty egg.  It has protein and tons of nutrients, and it works great with lots and lots of other ingredients….  Today I decided to make an ultra-healthy scramble, one that has a boatload of nutrients and anti-inflammatory properties to make my knee feel better…  I admit it, I pushed a little hard in the gym yesterday, but that’s the nature of the beast.  So to combat my achy knee, rather than reach for Ibuprofen (which has been proven to not only stop the ache but also stop muscle growth and also hurt your gut), I reach for natural remedies that will soothe the pain and also help my overall well being.  Garlic and turmeric are at the top of my anti-inflammatory list, and I also include some tomatoes and scallions today with my scramble for even more relief.  Along with those items, I include some tasty and super easy to make Miracle Rice, which I picked up through www.JulianBakery.com/Paleo along with my almond  Paleo Bread™ which I am toasting up today as well.  I love it, bread that doesn’t mess with my insulin levels, keeps my gut happy and auto-immune issues at bay.  And, it tastes great, has protein and fiber, and also doesn’t include GMO’s, Gluten, Grains, Dairy, Soy, just all natural goodness! 

Ingredients:

• 1 slice almond Paleo Bread (Coconut) or (Almond)

• 2 eggs

• 2 cloves garlic

• 1 bag Miracle Rice

• 1 scallion – chopped

• ½ cup spinach

• 3 grape tomatoes – sliced

• ½ tsp turmeric

• Sea salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

1)      Wash and cook Miracle Rice, set aside

2)      Melt Paleo Butter in pan

3)      Add in eggs, and all other ingredients, and cook to your liking.

4)      Cook  Paleo Bread™ in toaster oven.

5)      Top  Paleo Bread™ with Paleo Butter.

6)      Plate and enjoy.
