Ahhh, the Ham, Egg & Cheese…. What a classic, let’s mess with it! This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you a Julian Bakery ”Primal Ham Egg Avocado & Cheese Wrap”. I really can’t get enough of the Julian Bakery’s Paleo Wrap, it inspires me to try new things, as well as take oldies but goodies and turn them into a healthy Paleo or Primal meal. Today starts off no different, as I assemble an organic Paleo Wrap that fills me up, yet keeps carbs and sugars low.
I start this breakfast off with some Garlic Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil in my cast iron skillet, about a tablespoon, since I really don’t want anything sticking. This is one of my favorite coconut oils, since it’s pourable, organic, and GMO-free. Plus the garlic flavor is natural, and tastes pure, not fake. I then crack in a couple organic eggs, mix ‘em up, and then top it off with some organic nitrate and nitrite free ham. Oh, and how could I forget a dash of black pepper and Sunfood Super Foods Fine Himalayan Crystal Salt?? It has 84 trace minerals, and makes me feel good about getting some nutrients along with my seasoning. Once cooked up, I add in some goat cheese crumbles, allow to melt, and add this to my Paleo Wrap. But let’s take this a step further, it’s 2013, we are all aware of the benefits of healthy fats, so let’s top this with half an avocado, shall we?
• 2 local eggs
• 1 slice organic ham, cut in pieces
• ½ ounce crumbled goat cheese (Make It Paleo With Almond or Coconut Cheese Or No Cheese)
• 1 tbsp Garlic Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil (less if you are using non-stick cookware)
• Fine Himalayan Crystal Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 Paleo Wrap
• ½ avocado
1) Pour coconut oil in pan
2) Add eggs, mix them up, then add pieces of ham
3) Add Himalayan Salt and black pepper to taste
4) When done cooking, add goat cheese crumbles and allow to slightly melt
5) Transfer to Paleo Wrap
6) Top with avocado
7) Wrap, and enjoy!

Once again we upgraded an everyday classic to something organic, low carb, healthy, nutritious, and not to mention even tastier! The light coconut flavor from the Paleo Wrap is something I wake up craving nowadays… And with the fact that it has only 70 calories and just 4 net carbs is a huge bonus as well! This whole meal ended up being about 533 calories, had a healthy 22 grams of protein, and just 8 net carbs!
