Fiesta Garlic Turkey With Paleo Bread Recipe

“Fiesta Garlic Turkey”  Tonight’s dinner is definitely for the people that love spice, and we’re those people!  I used to have an entire shelf in my fridge, loaded with spices and hot sauces.  But I’ve toned things down recently, traded extreme heat for quality spice with flavor, and still enjoy it in moderation.  We start this meal off with a recent coconut oil that we’ve been using more and more, it’s the Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil, and we’re using the Garlic flavor right now.  It’s got a great garlic taste, its non-GMO, all natural, and pours right out of the bottle.  Less mess, ton’s of health benefits and it also comes in Original and Lemon-Herb which all taste fantastic!  After we heat up the coconut oil, we added our mushrooms, onions, and a clove of garlic and sautéed away….  Once that was done, we added our organic ground turkey with Paleo Powder, a spice that goes a long way and works all sorts of proteins and even veggies!  Plus, it’s gluten free as well as MSG-free!  Next, we added our tomatoes and allowed it to simmer down.  We are using Eden Foods Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies for that extra kick!  Add some salt and pepper, and wallah!


• 1 tbsp Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil – Garlic

• 8 ounces mushrooms – sliced

• ½ red onion – sliced

• 1 garlic cloves – minced

• 1 lb organic ground turkey

• 1 tbsp Paleo Powder

• 1 14.5 oz can Eden Foods Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, or another brand/flavor that you wish

• Sea salt and pepper to taste


1)      Heat pan with coconut oil

2)      Add mushrooms, onions and garlic and saute

3)      Add organic ground turkey

4)      Sprinkle on Paleo Powder

5)      Add Diced Tomatoes, and allow to simmer down

6)      Add salt and pepper to taste

• 20 minutes

With the spices from the Garlic Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil, the Paleo Powder, and the green chilies in the diced tomatoes, this was a meal with a prominent kick.  Not too spicy for some that fear the Scoville scale, in my opinion it was just right and had tons of flavor to go along with it.  Combined with a slice of almond Paleo Bread, this was a lovely dinner with all sorts of great textures and tastes.
