Chicken & Paleo Waffles Recipe

The first time I heard of “Chicken and Waffles”, it didn’t really appeal to me.  But I had to try it!  For me, it was just “ok”, but I knew they could be made into something that much better.  Today, I did just that!  This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you “Chicken & Paleo Waffles”.

I actually forgot about chicken and waffles for quite some time now, but after seeing my Paleo Waffles in the freezer near some frozen chicken breasts, I knew what I had to do….  After a few days of splurging on some Paleo snacks, treats, and meals, I seriously need to detox.  And I am not talking about going on a juice-fast or a doing a “cleanse”, I’m talking about getting back to low sugar, low carb, real day to day foods and ingredients.  Simply by eating clean, your body will rid the toxins and excess that you want to remove from your body, and this meal is a perfect example of how I can eat clean yet still enjoy some incredibly good food.

Paleo Waffles may sound like a treat, and don’t get me wrong – they taste incredible!!!  But they have just four net carbs for half a waffle, one hundred and eighty calories, just three grams of sugar, a whopping ten grams of protein, and no trans fats.  They are made with real ingredients, like coconut flour, egg whites, sea salt, cinnamon, almond milk, and even some Stevia to allow Paleo Waffles to be so low in sugar.  Meanwhile, they do not have any grains, gluten, soy, or GMO’s, so that you (and I) can feel good after consuming waffles once again!

1)      In a warm pan, add coconut oil and chicken breast, allowing to fully cook through.

2)      Toast Paleo Waffles to your liking.

3)      Season chicken with salt & pepper.

4)      When both are cooked, plate Paleo Waffle and top with sliced avocado, then add chicken breast, coconut flakes, and top with maple syrup.

Chicken and waffles never tasted so good!  And with right around only ten net carbs, nine grams of sugar, along with great proteins and fats, this is the ultimate version of “Chicken and Waffles”!  Each bite was savory, with the fluffy texture from the Paleo Waffle, the creamy avocado, the tasty chicken cooked in that organic and GMO-free Nuco coconut oil, and the crunchy and semi-sweet coconut flakes on top.  And don’t forget the sweet tasting but sugar free Nature’s Hollow maple syrup!  Sweetened with Xylitol, it’s beneficial to your body as it sweetens your palate.

How is this possible?  With the power of Paleo combined with Julian Bakery!  We’ve blended some healthy products that are all low in carbs, sugar, and sans GMO’s, gluten, grains, soy, dairy, and made a terrific meal…. A meal that doesn’t spike your insulin levels, allows inflammation to be kept to a minimum, and keeps you healthy and happy.  Typical waffles and traditional syrups are loaded with grains, carbs, sugars, which will cause all sorts of damage to our bodies.  Damage like the inflammation which I just mentioned, damage like feeding Candida with excessive sugars, and much much more.  Let’s not even get into eating factory-farmed chicken, I eliminate that concern by purchasing organic chicken and other proteins as well.

So check out for the products used in this meal, so that you too can enjoy “Chicken and Paleo Waffles”.  It’s a meal that will fill you up, yet allow you to feel good and stay healthy!  Thanks for stopping by, and please come again!
