This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you “Cappuccino Banana Pancakes.” Since I received my latest order from Julian Bakery, without any worries or issues I might add, I couldn’t wait to make a pancake recipe with one of my most favoritist products!!! Paleo Granola – Cappuccino Crunch!! Paleo People makes a great granola blend, and it comes in four flavors, all available through that wonderful Paleo section at Julian Bakery dot com! Cacao Nut, Banana Nut, and Apple Crisp all would be excellent choices in these pancakes as well, not to mention that they are excellent as a trail mix, or in a smoothie! Plus if you can’t decide, you can purchase the Paleo Granola – Variety Pack with all four flavors! They are gluten and grain free, and made with all natural ingredients; Cappuccino Crunch is made with Almonds, Brazil nuts, Honey, Walnuts, Raisins, Pecans, Sunflower seeds, Coffee beans, Coconut oil, Dried cranberries, Flaxseed meal, Cacao nibs, Natural flavors, and Raw cacao powder. And personally I’m not really a coffee drinker, but I absolutely am in love with the coffee/cappuccino taste that you get from the second you open the bag till the last second that you are enjoying that flavorful bite.
Along with the Paleo Granola, this recipe uses simple ingredients, like one egg, half a banana, sea salt, Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil for the frying pan, and it’ll get finished off with some Coconut Secret – Coconut Nectar. The Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil is a phenomenal product, all natural and in liquid form so you can pour the nutrition right on…. And speaking of pouring on nutrition, the Coconut Nectar is packed with amino acids, a bunch of B vitamins as well as vitamin C. When comparing to the so called “healthy” agave nectar, Coconut Nectar is a ton better for you, as well as being made at a much lower temperature, which makes agave nectar actually just as bad for you as high-fructose corn syrup. Really….
• ½ banana
• 1 egg
• pinch of sea salt
• 2 tsp Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil
• 2 tsp Coconut Secret – Coconut Nectar
1) Mash banana in a bowl
2) Add egg and a sprinkle of sea salt, and whisk
3) Add Paleo Granola and mix some more
4) Warm up frying pan and add Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil
5) Pour batter into three 4”-5” wide pancakes
6) Flip after a few minutes, and cook to your liking
• 3 minutes
• 7 minutes
Simply amazing, and I kind of wish I made two batches because it was that yummy!! I’ll have to try it out with the other flavors of Paleo Granola, I’m betting the Banana Nut would be great…. And since these were made without grains, gluten, dairy, soy, or GMO’s, this was a healthy breakfast. Luckily I made it that much better by enjoying a nice strip of bacon that my wife just cooked up. A little tip for you bacon lovers out there – Bacon with Coconut Nectar is another delicacy…. Give that one a shot!!
