Who says barbeque sauce can’t be used on fish? I’m gonna prove them wrong! This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you the “BBQ Tuna Paleo Wrap”. I do concur that barbeque sauce generally makes you think of steak, chicken or pork, but that doesn’t mean a good piece of wild caught fish doesn’t deserve that yummy BBQ-sauce. Especially when it’s the Smoked Apple Caveman Bob’s Paleo BBQ Sauce! There’s no added sugar, its low in carbs, and it’s made with all natural ingredients… Check this out! Tomato Puree (Tomatoes, Water), Apple Puree (Apples, Water), Water, Apple Cider Vinegar, Dijon Mustard (Water, Mustard Seed, Salt, Wine, Vitamin C, Spices), Natural Hickory Smoke Flavor (Water filtered through smoke from burning hickory wood chips), Spices, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Since I just made a trip to our local fish market yesterday, I have a fresh piece of wild caught sashimi grade tuna waiting to be mated up with something special. And today, our beloved Paleo Wraps and Caveman Bob’s Paleo BBQ Sauce are that something special. Paleo Wraps are made from organic coconut; they are strong, tasty, and low in calories and carbs too. Plus, without GMO’s, gluten, soy, grains, or starch, they are the perfect way to enjoy just about any Paleo meal!

I can’t forget about our good Paleo friends Quantum Pink Salt and Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil. They’ve been long time assistants here, and they need no introduction! But if you are new to my blogs, I’ll give you a quick rundown! Quantum Pink Salt is a pure blend of two healthy sea salts that lack any binding agents or fillers that traditional salts include…. And it’s actually good for you due to the trace minerals that it provides. Along with being quite tasty! When it comes to a quality coconut oil, look no further than Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil. Why? Because it’s pourable, so you aren’t going to make a huge mess and there’s no need to spoon it out of a jar. It’s also organic and GMO free, which I’m sure you’re happy to be reading right about now. And it comes in naturally infused Garlic and Lemon Herb too!
Finally, when it comes to taste, this meal had it goin’ on! The tuna had a wonderful barbeque aroma, while giving it a slight hint of smoked apple. Can you say YUM??!?! The kale crunch is always a good thing, I don’t have to explain the benefits of kale here, you know it’s just good for you! The creamy avocado is a daily thing for me… And don’t be shy of those healthy fats, especially when it tastes so good! And the Paleo Wraps did their thing, they provided a great base to hold all of this food in, they tasted great, and they did not fall apart one bit. If you’re curious about why I opted for two Paleo Wraps, it’s because anytime I do a hot meal, I might use two for some added support. Especially when my meals are doing a photo-shoot and sitting on a plate, making me drool… Plus, it’s still only 8 net carbs and 140 calories!
Now do you believe that tuna and BBQ sauce go together like Coconut Nectar and avocados? Trust me on both accounts….
