It’s amazing what a little green can do to your wrap, or omelet?? This is Dan from Primal4Life bringing you a “Basil & Red Onion Paleo Wrap Omelet.” So which is it? A wrap? Or is it an omelet? It’s both, it’s an omelet in a wrap! And it’s a tasty one by the way…. By simply adding in some fresh basil leaves, along with some red onion, this omelet comes to life. Herbs are so powerful, healing, and taste quite nice as well. Basil has anti-inflammatory properties, being able to help with arthritis and swelling… And it’s rich in antioxidants as well. And by adding them into our foods, we can enjoy all of those benefits.
This omelet starts off with a few locally raised eggs, cooked in a pan that has a splash of Garlic Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil. It’s one of my go to cooking oils, since it handles a higher cooking temp, resists oxidation, and provides you with medium chain fatty acids from coconut! No GMO’s, it’s organic, and you can choose from Garlic, Lemon Herb, or Original, to change things up a little!
I then toss in just a couple items, my sliced up red onion, and just three basil leaves. Simple, yet effective! I then mix it up, and add in a little Quantum Pink Salt and black pepper to season it up. Why Quantum Pink Salt? Because it’s made without anti-clumping agents, chemicals, or any of that “stuff” that makes its way into traditional or even kosher salts. It’s a pure blend of Mediterranean sea salt and pink Alaea Hawaiian sea salt, both of which will supply critical trace elements to our bodies.
- 1 Paleo Wrap
- ½ TBSP Garlic Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil
- 3 free-range eggs
- 3 basil leaves, chopped
- 1/5th red onion, sliced
- ½ avocado, sliced
- Quantum Pink Salt & black pepper to taste
1) Heat pan with Garlic Nuco Liquid Premium Coconut Oil, then add in your eggs.
2) Mix eggs up, and then add in your red onion and basil.
3) Allow to cook on low heat, and then season with Quantum Pink Salt & black pepper.
4) When cooked to your liking, add to your Paleo Wrap, and add avocado to the center.
5) Wrap, and savor the moment.

Last but not least, we have the wonderful avocado, which sneaks its way into most of my posts…. And the ultimate wrap: The Paleo Wrap from Julian Bakery… Both are very nutritious and healthy for you, both include healthy fats, and both are low in carbs!
